Manage this question

Information about the client’s question will be displayed, including objective response date and current completion status, together with links providing the opportunity to cancel the question, add to/change the question (including the ability to just make a comment about the question, and perhaps include an attachment/s), and to view the history of the question. 

“Make changes to this question” might be renamed “Preview this question” if your organisation does not allow clients to change questions after submission (set using Parameter 6.6), and will allow the client to send a message about this request (and perhaps include an attachment/s), but not change any of the already provided details about that request.

If a staff member has initiated a Query to the client (e.g. a clarification request), this screen will also provide an option for the client to respond to that query.

If the question is closed, this screen can show the answer and may provide an opportunity to re-open the question, if reopening has been allowed for this type of question.  The Answer will ONLY be shown if it was provided with a successful closing status.  It will never be shown it the Response method is no response required.

It can also provide an option for the client to remove their client details from the question (for privacy reasons) if allowed by your System administrator using parameter 6.12.

If this client has asked more than just this question, a View all my questions link will appear in the top left of this page and in the Other options section at the bottom of the page.  Clicking on View all my questions shows a list of all questions submitted by this client (since a period specified by your System Administrator), from which the client can then use these same Manage this question features to manage their other questions


Exercise:

So to submit a change to this question you should click the radio button next to “I want to add/change may question” and then click on Submit.


(If you do not currently have the Check question screen that shows the status of the question you submitted, showing on your monitor, you should go to it now by clicking on Check on existing question, then enter the number of the question that you submitted, and the email address that you submitted with it.)
