Batch process menu

The Batch process menu provides access to utility type functions that operate on multiple pieces of data. Functions are provided in the following three areas

• Data management (for example bulk deletes)
• Data import/export (bringing data into the system, such as emails, and taking data out, such as for billing)
• Background processing (running tasks automatically on a regular basis)

Note the functions under Batch processes are about managing and utilising the data held in the application. There are more administration type functions under System, Utilities, that are about managing the RefTracker application.

Some batch processes do not appear in this menu until processes of that type have been created (e.g. the reporting processes).
