General codes Code tables

It is rare that customers need to amend these code tables so, for this reason, you need to click on System>Code tables menu>General codes to be able to see the code tables in this group.

They provide a wide range of standard values used throughout RefTracker.

The most common reason for working with these code tables is for customers who are translating RefTracker into other languages and will need to provide translations for these some of these code tables.

Mostly these code tables cannot be changed past changing the description to something that means the same thing.

However, the Allocation mode code table allows some Allocation modes to be disabled.  If you NEVER use the System administrator or Automatic Allocation methods, you can untick one or both of them in the Enable column of the Allocation mode code table to have them disappear from the Allocation options provided to staff in the New, Change and Copy screens
