Including other client interface pages in your web pages
You will need to provide a link to RefTracker in your staff web pages which is as simple as including a hyperlink to the RefTracker staff interface (default http://<yourRefTrackerDomain>/staff.aspx).
This section describes how you can include the various parts of the RefTracker client interface into your library web pages, so that the service is easily found and used by your clients. It also covers how the client interface can be made to show services (request forms) specific to each of your library locations (important if you are a consortium, or if your branches operate relatively autonomously).
Links to RefTracker client interface pages can be inserted anywhere that a hyperlink can be inserted – not just your own web pages, but perhaps in you library management system client interface, and even directly into Outlook.
Full details of how to insert links to RefTracker in your web pages are provided in the RefTracker help system under the heading “Going live with RefTracker”. Depending on the access that you have to being able to change your library web pages, you may need the help of your IT department for some of the items in this section.
See a previous section for information about customising the information and services that are included in the client interface pages, and changing its colours and logos.
