Direct access to searching the KB and/or FAQ

Similarly you may have web pages dedicated to the information sources available at your library. The Knowledge Base and FAQ developed within RefTracker are examples of those information sources and can be included in this specialised library web page, by providing a link directly to the page shown above, which allows the RefTracker Knowledge Base or FAQ to be searched.
The URL that you need to use to link to the KB version of this page is:
http://<yourRefTrackerDomain>/reft290.aspx?sdb=2
The URL that you need to use to link to the FAQ version of this page is:
http://<yourRefTrackerDomain>/reft290.aspx?sdb=3
When you place one of these URL’s in your web pages, and a user clicks on it, the URL that they are shown on display of the form will be a URL that uses a temporary message table index so that the user cannot tamper with the URL.
Click here for details about how the clientSearchResults.htm file can be edited using System>Utilities>Administration utilities>Template editor (text) to control the amount and layout of information provided about each KB and FAQ entry.
