Direct access to View all my questions (a My requests page)

If your Library Management System provides a ”My account” function for your end users, you may want to incorporate a link to this function – you might call it “My requests”.
You can insert a link to the “View all my questions” page into your web pages by inserting
http://<YourRefTrackerDomain>/reft296.aspx?ce=<clientEmailAddress>&stp=4
For example http://reftracker.altarama.com/reft296.aspx?ce=sforster@altarama.com&stp=4
Your web page will need to provide the <Client Email Address> variable for the URL shown above.
For privacy reasons this link should only be provided in pages where the client has previously had to identify themselves, and it is most important that it should NOT be provided in a way that the URL above is shown to the client. When a client clicks this link, the RefTracker page they see does not show this URL, but rather one with a one time use parameter, ensuring that the user cannot re-use this link, with another email address, to see anyone else’s questions, as they will never see that the email address is provided in the ce= parameter.
To see more details of any question (such as the answer provided for it), or to work with that question (such as amending it), the client just clicks on the question number and they will be shown all of the applicable “Manage this question” functions for that question.
Note that the standard RefTracker client interface header bar provides one click access to other functions like “Ask a new question” and the “KB” and “FAQ” search pages. If you are using a custom header, make sure that your custom header provides access to at least the “Ask new question” link, to make it easy for clients to ask a new question if they see that they do not already have an answer for what they were looking for in this “View all my questions” page. For those who do not have access to the header, this page provides a link to the Ask new question page in the information section at the top of the page.
Parameter 6.10 (Period for which client can view previous questions) needs to be set to greater than zero for this URL access to “View all my questions”, to be able to be used.
