Utilities to help you manage your RefTracker system

RefTracker provides a number of utilities designed to help manage your system. Many of the utilities will only ever be used under instructions from your RefTracker supplier when an error has occurred in your system.

However, some utilities are useful in the day to operation of your system, or in its set up or customisation. This section covers only those utilities that are useful in day to day use of your system or in its setup or customisation.

The Utilities menu

The Utilities screen is accessible from the System menu, and all the utilities provided in it are directly accessible from the System>Utilities menu list.

Many of its functions will only ever be used when working with your RefTracker supplier to resolve problems. However, there are a number of links on this page that you should be familiar with in regard to managing your system, or customising it.

Note the functions under System>Utilities are about managing the RefTracker application. There are more administration type functions under System>Batch process menu – the batch process functions are about managing and utilising the data held in the application.
