Using a Request form with Lookups defined in it

Your system administrator and IT department will use the instructions later in this document to set up Lookups in RefTracker Request forms where they are beneficial to your organisation. When using forms that use Dynamic Lookups you may not be aware that the Lookups are taking place at all, however where they effect your usage of the form, the following icons will appear to the right of fields in Request forms that use Lookup functionality.

 indicates a field that will suggest entries from the lookup data as you type characters into this box. Select the suggested entry you want to use from the ones shown below this field. (An Autocomplete field that is used for a Dynamic population)
indicates a field that will be used to retrieve data from the lookup file to complete other fields. (A field that will be used for a Dynamic population)
 indicates a field that fill be filled by one of the lookup fields indicated by one of the symbols shown above.   (A field that may be filled by a Dynamic population)

You can type into these fields and even change data automatically inserted in them by the lookup.
