Logging off

When you are finished working in RefTracker you must ALWAYS log off. After logging off you will see a RefTracker logon screen, though users of systems with SSO enabled may see a different page (as specified by your system administrator in parameter 5.7).

Whilst you are logged into RefTracker you are using a licence. Logging off frees up that licence for someone else to use. 

So it is a good idea to log off if you will not be using the system for some time. Remember that RefTracker will send you an email if it needs you to do something so there is no necessity for you to be constantly logged in.

If you sit in RefTracker without using it, you will eventually be automatically logged off. Your System Administrator determines how long before this automatic log off occurs. You will know that this has occurred if you are unexpectedly presented with the login screen.
Note that users utilising Autologon or SSO will notice that they are unexpectedly shown the Home page – as they will have been automatically logged back in!)
