Who should read this manual?
This document provides the definitive description of the features and functions of RefTracker that Supervisors can use over and above the functions available to staff RefTracker users. As Administrators also have access to Supervisor functions, Administrators should also read this manual.

Pre-requisite: Staff reading this manual should have already read the RefTracker Staff and Client manuals.
This manual can be used in a class room environment, or as a self-paced training course.

To aid in finding the information that you require in this manual it is broadly organised in the same way as the RefTracker menu structure, but a whole of manual search function is also provided in the top right of the screen, and a search of this administration part of the manual only is provided above the table of contents.

Where to obtain updated versions of this manual?
As new versions of RefTracker are released, updated versions of this manual are made available. To obtain find a version of this manual for a different release, go to:

Where to obtain assistance in relation to RefTracker?
The RefTracker help system provides a useful guide as to how to use RefTracker. It is accessible from the question mark icon in the header of every RefTracker screen. When you click on the help system icon, it brings up help for the particular page that you are currently on that often provides links to other applicable pages. 

You can also use the left hand table of contents to find other relevant information, and, in particular, the search box at the top of that column. Further, links at the bottom of the page allow you to easily move to the previous and next help pages. 

Because Supervisors can see the Parameters, Code tables and Data dictionary that control the operation of the RefTracker system they also have access to the entire System Administration manual – a vast resource of additional information about RefTracker, though not all are able to be changed by Supervisors.
