Email your staff
An “Email all these users” link on the left of the Signon selection parameters allows you to send an email to your RefTracker staff. This function can only be provided for contacting your Full user staff as email addresses are not saved for ServicePoint users in RefTracker.
When Supervisors use this link the email page will display with all of the email addresses for staff in the Supervisor’s area, already inserted.
When System administrators use this link, email addresses for all RefTracker Full users currently showing in the Staff list screen, will be inserted by default, but they can use the Staff location and Permission level parameters to select a subset.
The “To:” “cc:” and “Subject” lines are in open boxes and so can be adjusted if required, and the Body is ready for entry of your message.
The WP like editing functions are provided for formatting your message, and you can even cut and paste images into your message. When the email is sent, a note with the relevant image name will be inserted where the image was, and the image will be sent as an attachment (as there is no question to save these images into).

To include an attachment in your email use the Browse button and a normal file finding window will appear allowing an attachment to be added.
Click “Send” to send the email. The email will be sent from the Service email address of your RefTracker system, and will be copied to you (or any other email addresses that you include in the cc: address line).
Here’s an example of the email that is sent to the email addresses that you specify – it includes a note about an embedded image sent as an attachment.

Try sending an email to your staff, or a selection of them!
We are now going to look at the administrative functions provided by the Staff signon management screen with the objective of setting up a real user of the system, so you can use it for your further work.
So to create a new signon go to the System>Users-Full screen, then click on the New button.
