Reporting – Evaluations rating report

This Evaluation rating report found in the menu list under Reporting in the main header bar, provides a direct link to the Evaluation ratings by staff report, at System>Statistics>Evaluation ratings.  This is just a saved set of parameters for the Statistical reports screen, so it works exactly like that screen – it is just placed in a convenient menu position, as it is most likely to be used at the same time as the Evaluation comments report that is directly below it in the System>Statistics menu.  You can change the parameters if you need to, such as using a different graph style, or a different time period, and this report will remember what you last used and present the same parameters again next time.  However the parameters that you can change are limited (those that cannot be changed are greyed out), as this must remain an Evaluation rating report.
The Date type selection of “Evaluation date” ensures that this report summarises just those evaluations received in the selected date range.
Evaluation date under Date type is only valid for selection when Evaluation rating is selected in either the X or Y axis parameter.
Note the useful Average and Score information.
Score is a column that only appears when Evaluation rating is in the X or Y axis.  It is calculated by weighting each rating by its number of stars and finding an average number of stars for the evaluations received for that attribute.  Because ratings are not received for all work done, Scores should not be used for rankings, but rather, just as an indication that this attribute or staff member may be performing exceptionally well or exceptionally poorly.
