Report type – Relationship type by code table

In conjunction with the Service type selection criteria, the “Relationship type by code table” report shows Individual requests (no dependencies), Parent, Child (created by Linked using parent/child relationship), Linked to, Linked from (created by Linked using Linked to/from relationship), Primary and Sub task (created by Create a sub task). Use it to see the relative numbers of Primary, Linked, and Internal questions.
Select Individual requests (only questions with no dependencies),
or Parent, Primary, Linked from (only questions with dependencies)
or Child (created by Linked using parent/child relationship), Linked to (created by using Linked to/from relationship), and Sub task (created by Create a sub task) which are all dependent requests.
If you only want to report on Sub tasks choose just Internal tasks at Service type and Child/Linked to/Sub tasks here.
If you tick “Direct to KB” at Service type for this report, any Direct to KB questions will appear as “Individual” requests in this report.
Another very useful way that you can report on the work done on Service questions vs Sub tasks is that you can choose “Service type” in the X or Y axis parameter of the Code table by Code table report, or you can use the Sub reports parameter set to “Each service type”.
